U.S. Renal Care in Ohio is seeking a RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff. You will assist physicians, document medication reviews, and participate in dialysis service planning to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires an active RN license, dialysis experience, CPR within 90 days, and strong leadership abilities. You will contribute to anemia management, policy updates, and staff orientation while ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• 12 months of nursing care experience, 3 months in maintenance dialysis.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.
• Strong leadership and sound judgment in emergent situations.
• Good English communication, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with USRC clinical software.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff on duty.
• Improve patient health, minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Administer medications as ordered and document reviews.
• Assist physician during rounds and execute orders timely.
• Support anemia management and dialysis protocols as requested.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide direct patient care for efficient, safe dialysis where allowed.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate findings to the team.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and physicians on patient care planning.
• Precept orientation of new staff and support preceptors.
• Act as resource for dialysis services and update policies.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating center staff.
