Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services on each shift and supervise staff during operational hours. The role includes supporting dialysis operations and collaborating with physicians to implement orders and patient care plans.

You will contribute to anemia management, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning. Strong leadership, nursing expertise in dialysis, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months experience in nursing care, including 3 months on maintenance dialysis.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and sound judgment.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and act as nursing supervisor.
• Supervise staff on duty during operational hours.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Demonstrate efficient use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Assist physician during rounds and transcribe orders timely.
• Support anemia management and medication protocols as requested.
• Communicate patient assessments and monitoring results to the physician and team.
