Dialyze Direct in the United States is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dialysis care. This full-time role emphasizes independent judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork with the Dialyze Direct care team.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, with no weekend shifts. The RN will collect health data during dialysis, develop and maintain a care plan, document interventions in the EMR, perform labs, and manage clerical tasks while traveling to nearby

Formación

• Valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• BS/AA/diploma in nursing.
• 6 months of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 3 months of hemodialysis experience.
• In the state of Texas, 6 months of hemodialysis experience within the last 24 months.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association Required).
• Successful passing of an Ishihara color vision test.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care, training, and home support with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with Dialyze Direct team, nursing homes, and nephrologists.
• Collect and record patient health data during hemodialysis.
• Develop and maintain a plan of care to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement and record interventions in EMR.
• Perform laboratory collection, processing, and shipping; reschedule missed collections.
• Handle clerical tasks (filing, inventory, documentation, charting).
• Maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward patients and staff.
• Occasional travel to nearby locations.
• Medication administration and documentation.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday schedule.
• Day shift only.
• No weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be able to function at a high level with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed);
• Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and dedicated Nephrologists;
• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre/post hemodialysis treatment;
• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes;
• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR;
• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections;
• Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care (i.e., filing, inventory management, admission documentation, creating patient charts, etc.);
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues;
• Occasional travel to other nearby locations; and
• Medication administration and documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• BS/AA/diploma in nursing.

• 3 months of hemodialysis experience.
