Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join an interdisciplinary team, providing nutrition therapy for patients with kidney disease and reviewing labs to guide interventions.

You will educate on fluids and CKD-related management in collaboration with physicians. You will work with the Medical Director, nurses, social workers, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes and participate in QAPI activities.

Qualifications

• Current RD/RDN certification showing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (includes Baccalaureate or Advanced degree).
• Minimum of one-year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
• Current Dietitian license in applicable state is required unless in AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA; CT and NY require state certification; license must be current.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook; proficiency in company clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet practice requirements for the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient nutrition therapy based on current science and physician consultation.
• Review labs and educate on fluids, sodium, potassium, and CKD-MBD management.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, physicians, nurses, social workers, and care staff to support patient outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a quality assurance program and participate in QAPI activities.
