U.S. Renal Care in Monterey, CA is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will participate in hemodialysis under center policies and gain hands-on skills in vital signs, patient documentation, and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• Experience: One (1) year of medical experience preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• License/Certification: Current CPR certification; BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification required within 18 months from hire date; CDPH CHT certification required within 18 months from hire date (CA locations).

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Learn how to perform hemodialysis treatment according to center policies and procedures.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs and document information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and perform equipment cleaning.
