Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support dialysis treatment under RN/CN supervision. You will assist with patient care, monitor during sessions, and manage sample collection as ordered.

Responsibilities include machine setup, cleaning, safety checks, and adhering to all protocols and regulations. Training and continuing education are required for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Completion of USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• PCT certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and gather patient stats before/after.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean/disinfect, and log quality checks.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in trainings and meetings.
