Responsibilities

• Gather patient stats before and after treatment.
• Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment.
• Terminate treatment and collect blood samples per physician orders.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments and clean/disinfect after use.
• Perform machine safety checks and log results for QA.
• Follow all protocols, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Use PPE and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
