Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Louisiana is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support clinicians during dialysis treatments and deliver prescribed care in our nonprofit setting.

As an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, you will participate in infection control, monitor vital signs, set up and break down the dialysis system, and work under RN supervision to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for patients with end-stage renal disease.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to collaborate with care teams and problem solve.
• High school diploma or GED; healthcare training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control and patient education.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings.
• Operate under RN supervision to ensure safe care and outcomes.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles and monitor during treatment.
