Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a diligent Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn direct patient care under RN supervision and to perform hemodialysis according to center policies. You will gain hands-on experience with vital signs, blood tests, and dialysis equipment in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Learn how to perform hemodialysis according to center policies and procedures.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs, perform blood tests, and document information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and assist with cleaning equipment.
