Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and to perform hemodialysis according to Satellite and the center's policies and procedures.

You will gain hands-on experience in taking vital signs, performing blood tests, documenting patient information, preparing and monitoring dialysis equipment, and maintaining clean equipment.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform tasks related to hemodialysis preparation and monitoring.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs, document patient information, and assist with dialysis equipment setup and cleaning.
