Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will gain hands-on experience in hemodialysis, monitor patient vitals, conduct blood tests, document records, and support dialysis equipment setup and cleaning.

The program emphasizes growth, teamwork, and a compassionate approach to patient care, with formal training and mentorship to advance within our patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification required within 18 months from hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification required within 18 months from hire date (CA locations).

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist in taking and monitoring vital signs and collecting basic blood tests.
• Document patient information accurately and prepare dialysis equipment.
• Monitor and clean dialysis equipment according to policy.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Current CPR certification

BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification within 18 months

CDPH CHT certification within 18 months (CA locations)
