Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking compassionate staff to support patient care in a part-time role. Training is provided with a 12-week program, and the team works under RN supervision to manage dialysis treatments.

The position emphasizes patient education, infection control, and safety while offering a supportive, mission-driven culture. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans, PTO, and retirement matching. No overnight shifts and Sundays off, with shifts starting at 9:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent)
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom sessions and one-on-one skills training
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
• Work under RN supervision
• Set up and break down the dialysis blood system for treatment
• Insert and remove patient access needles
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurse of concerns
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
• Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
• Track and maintain inventory
• Perform laboratory work
