Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment process in a compassionate, mission-driven environment. This full-time role covers multiple locations with four 10-hour shifts starting at 6am and Sundays off.

Paid 12-week training with a preceptor, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, ESB, and retirement plan matching are offered. No overnight shifts; dialysis experience not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare certification (CNA/EMT/Medical assistant/CNT/Phlebotomy) desired.
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom sessions and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients and inform charge nurse of concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Maintain patient privacy and rights and inventory.
