Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our interdisciplinary dialysis team and deliver prescribed treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease in a comfortable clinical setting.

This full-time role offers a 12-hour shift pattern starting at 4:00am, Sundays off, paid training, competitive pay from $15 to $17 per hour, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a nonprofit, mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, risk management and patient education.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients and inform charge nurse of concerns.
• Maintain patient privacy and rights while caring for patients.
• Maintain and track inventory and perform laboratory work.
