Job summary

US Renal Care, a leading dialysis provider, seeks a Patient Care Technician to join our cross-functional team. You will assist RN or CN in delivering dialysis care, monitor patients during treatment, and collect samples as ordered.

Responsibilities include preparing machines, maintaining hygiene, performing safety checks, and following all policies. Training and CPR compliance are required, with certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients in need.
• Previous healthcare exposure in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire.
• Successful completion of USRC dialysis theory/practice training within 8 weeks of hire.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or per state requirements.
• PCT certification must be obtained through a state or national program within 18 months and maintained thereafter.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Comfort mixing acids and bicarbonate per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality dialysis treatment and gather patient stats before/after treatment.
• Prepare machines, clean/disinfect, conduct machine safety checks and log results.
• Adhere to safety measures and company policies; participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
