Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dialysis team in California. You will work under the supervision of an RN or Charge Nurse to support treatment and patient care for individuals with kidney disease.

You will handle direct patient care, monitor patients during dialysis, collect samples as ordered, and ensure machines are prepared, cleaned, and tested for safety. This role emphasizes strict safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in healthcare and patient care.
• Healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA is a plus.
• Comfort mixing acids and bicarbonate per protocol.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis care and collect patient stats before and after treatment.
• Prepare machines, clean and disinfect after treatment, and log safety checks.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.
• Work under RN or CN supervision to support renal care patients.
