Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our mission of individualized care for patients with kidney disease. The full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts, Sundays off, and no overnight shifts.

Compensation ranges from $16-$25 per hour, with experience-based adjustments. DCI offers paid 12-week training, comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, life and long-term disability insurance, PTO with holidays, ESB for doctor visits, a 401(k)

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
