Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment team. Four 10-hour shifts begin at 4am, Sundays off, and no overnight shifts.

You will assist with patient care, monitor vital signs and blood systems, and work under RN supervision. The position offers $18–$20 per hour with paid training and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, life and disability coverage, PTO, extended sick leave,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
