Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment process under RN supervision. The role begins with a four 10-hour shift schedule from 4:30am, Sundays off, and no overnight shifts.

The PCT will assist with infection control, patient education and vital sign monitoring while ensuring safe, high-quality dialysis care. The company offers paid training, comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
• Role under RN supervision
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment
• Insert and remove patient access needles
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights
• Maintain and track inventory
• Perform laboratory work

High school diploma or GED

CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired
