Job summary

Florida Kidney Physicians (FKP) is seeking a Healthcare Outreach & Referral Coordinator to build and strengthen referral relationships across the Greater Tampa area. This is a field-based, sales-focused role with 75% outreach and 25% coordination at the Brandon Surgery Center.

You will engage dialysis clinics, nephrology practices, and other partners, educating teams on vascular access services and driving timely patient referrals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare sales, outreach, or clinical environment.
• Dialysis or nephrology experience strongly preferred.
• Experience building relationships with dialysis clinics, physicians, nurses, and other referral sources.
• Experience generating patient referrals is preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Tampa area several days per week.
• Strong presentation and public-speaking skills with ability to educate groups of clinical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with dialysis clinics, nephrology practices, and other referral partners in the Greater Tampa market.
• Conduct regular in-person visits with dialysis clinic leadership and staff.
• Educate dialysis teams on vascular access services and timely intervention.
• Deliver educational presentations to dialysis clinic teams and partners.
• Coordinate patient referrals and scheduling for vascular access procedures.
• Serve as key contact between patients, clinics, physicians, and the surgery center.
• Track outreach activity and referral volume; prepare territory updates for leadership.
