Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate RN with current state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Entry level RN with CAP 1 program in nephrology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and updates records.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and dialysis procedures.
• Directs daily delivery of safe hemodialysis therapy with care staff collaboration.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response, teaching, and quality improvement.
