Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse CAP 1 for outpatient dialysis care in New Castle, PA. You will provide clinically competent nursing care, participate in the CAP program, and collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians to plan, execute and evaluate care.

The role includes hands-on hemodialysis, education for patients and families, and participation in quality improvement within a health care facility environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with <2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Acute/chronic hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Completion of nursing program and licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in patient records.
• Educate patients and families about care and learning needs.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to update plan of care.
