Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Indianapolis seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for a group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision.

This role includes education, coordination with the care team, medication administration per protocol, and potential leadership responsibilities as CAP progressions occur. Requires RN licensure and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure in the applicable state.
• Current/valid CPR BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in the medical record.
• Assess and educate patients and families on learning needs.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis care and coordinate with the care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document outcomes.
• Participate in emergency response and staff training as needed.

Education

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
