Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Nursing Education Specialist to train staff across Pacific Northwest, Sierra Coast, and Hawaii regions. You will deliver orientation, preceptor training, in-services, and clinical training to promote quality patient care and enterprise goals.

The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of HT dialysis experience, and CPR/BLS certification, with travel up to 50%. A BSN/MSN is preferred, and strong communication is essential in a health-care facility environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the primary state of residence and ability to obtain licensure in assigned states.
• 1 year haemodialysis experience as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BLS certification current and maintained.
• BSN/MSN preferred for advanced education in nursing.
• Willingness to travel 50% and support regional education efforts.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver competency-based training.

Responsibilities

• Align activities with regional, group, and corporate goals.
• Deliver standardized education programs for new hires and staff.
• Promote patient safety and clinical quality through training.
• Develop competency and skills across chronic kidney disease programs.
• Foster lifelong learning through coaching and available tech.
• Collaborate with partners to schedule and implement education programs.
• Utilize varied educational venues and learning techniques.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers and teams.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and performance management.
• Support KPI programs with data documentation and quality improvement.
