Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dietitian in Las Cruces, NM to join an interdisciplinary team delivering kidney care. You will tailor therapeutic diets, review labs, and educate patients under supervision of a RDN Regional Manager.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and administrators to support positive patient outcomes and maintain quality care. Strong communication and computer skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification showing proof of registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum of one-year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
• Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable state is required unless employed in certain states. License must be current and in good standing.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook; proficiency in company clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patient Nutrition: recommend therapeutic diets based on nutritional needs and treatment changes, in consultation with the physician.
• Review lab results and provide education for nutrition interventions on fluids, sodium, potassium, CKD-MBD management.
• Conduct patient assessments and care planning; participate in monthly interdisciplinary conferences.
• Teamwork: collaborate with Medical Director, physicians, facility admin, social worker, nurse, and others to maintain relationships with hospitals and community.
• Safety & Quality: support clinical and operational processes to improve patient outcomes; participate in QAPI activities.
