Job summary

USRC is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide expert oversight ensuring the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of in-center hemodialysis across an assigned geographic region. The CS monitors patient outcomes, adherence to CMS Conditions for Coverage and state requirements, and promotes best practices to improve safety and outcomes.

The role supports education and competency development for clinical staff, fosters continuous improvement, and collaborates with Home Therapies leadership

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN/LPN license in the applicable state; license must be current and in good standing.
• Minimum five (5) years of dialysis experience; including at least 3 years as a dialysis nurse.
• Extensive knowledge of dialysis industry standards and regulations governing ESRD facilities; management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; CPR Trainer may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of in-center hemodialysis care across an assigned region.
• Monitor clinical performance, patient outcomes, and adherence to regulatory standards including CMS and state requirements.
• Support education and competency development for clinical staff and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Home Therapies leadership to align standards across modalities when appropriate.
• Conduct internal reviews, develop corrective action plans, and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings.
