Job summary

US Renal Care in Richardson, TX is seeking a Unit Clerk to join a cross-functional team and support clinic operations while delivering compassionate patient care for kidney disease patients.

As a Unit Clerk, you will greet patients, answer phones, update medical records, prepare charts for treatments, handle billing logs, and assist with government forms while ensuring supplies and coordinating lab processing.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors and answering phones.
• Update and maintain medical records and prepare patient charts for treatments.
• Enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Complete forms and reports for governmental agencies.
• Ensure supplies and inventory and reordering.
• Process lab slips and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
