Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and patient care. You will greet patients, answer phones, and help with transportation, while maintaining accurate records and assisting with billing and reporting.

The role involves preparing patient charts, updating records for treatments, auditing for compliance, and ensuring supplies. A high school diploma and healthcare/ad min experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and create a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
• Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and assist with transportation arrangements as needed.
• Maintain and update medical records; prepare charts for treatments.
• Enter charges and prepare billing and patient attendance logs; complete required forms.
• Audit records for compliance and ensure adequate supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
• Assist with lab processing by preparing lab slips and directing samples to the appropriate lab.
