Responsibilities

• Obtain and document demographic and financial information; update accounts in HIS for registration, scheduling and billing.
• Obtain authorizations for procedures and ensure proper documentation.
• Accurately document in patient accounts and prioritize workflow; provide timely communication with families and staff.
• Register and arrive patients into procedure area; collect co-pays and deductibles; verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
• Provide courteous customer service by answering phones and greeting patients; maintain positive relationships with patients and insurers.
