The position involves maintaining medical records, processing charges and billing, and ensuring compliance with governmental reporting. Strong organization and proficiency in USRC applications are essential within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Customer Care: greet patients and visitors, answer phones, respond to patient questions, assist with transportation as needed.
• Operational Support: maintain medical records, prepare patient records and charts, audit records for compliance, update and input charges, and prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Process lab work: prepare lab slips and tubes and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
