Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State.
• CPR certification is required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, including informal feedback and annual performance input.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Approve or disapprove staffing and schedule changes in the absence of Facility Administrator.
• Participate in patient care plan meetings and staffing decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of dialysis practices and participate in in-service trainings.
• Supervise documentation of patient information and coordinate duties with staff.
• Assess daily patient care needs and assign appropriate care tasks.
