Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn direct patient care under a registered nurse.

You will learn and perform hemodialysis tasks in accordance with center policies, including vital signs, blood tests, and equipment setup and cleaning. Minimum qualifications include one year of medical experience, a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and CA-specific CDPH CHT or similar within 18 months.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification required within 18 months from hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification required within 18 months for CA locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse and learn hemodialysis procedures.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs and perform blood tests.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and clean equipment.
• Work within satellite and local center policies and procedures to support patient care.
