Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in California is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to learn direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The training will cover performing hemodialysis-related tasks, measuring vital signs, preparing and monitoring equipment, and documenting patient information.

As a trainee you will join a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to compassionate care for kidney patients.

Qualifications

• One year of medical or patient-care experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Learn and assist with hemodialysis procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and document information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient care areas.
