Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team delivering dialysis treatment under RN supervision. You will gather patient stats, initiate and monitor treatments, and collect samples as ordered.

You will prepare and sanitize machines, conduct safety checks, and log quality data. Requirements include a high school diploma, healthcare interest, and CPR within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire or as required by state.
• PCT certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during dialysis treatments under RN or Charge Nurse supervision.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments and perform post-treatment cleaning and disinfecting.
• Monitor patients during treatment and log results for quality control.
• Follow safety protocols and internal policies; participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
