Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team, providing dialysis treatment and delegated activities for patients with renal failure under RN or CN supervision. You will perform direct patient care during dialysis, prepare and monitor machines, and ensure safety and quality while adhering to policies.

Training and continuing education are required. Qualifications include a high school diploma and a desire to work in healthcare; prior dialysis or CNA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients in need.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and direct patient care, including gathering stats before and after treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect after treatment, and conduct safety checks with logged results.
• Follow safety measures, wear PPE, comply with policies and regulations, and participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
