Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Bedford Heights, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician / Dialysis Technician Trainee at our outpatient clinic. No prior dialysis experience required as we provide 12 weeks of paid, comprehensive training. You will work under supervision, support patient care, and contribute to safe dialysis sessions.

The position offers a stable schedule and a supportive team in a clinic open Mon-Sat, with shifts 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met as applicable.
• Previous patient care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up dialysis equipment and educating patients on procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and document treatment data accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean dialysis environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Provide support to the RN/nurse supervisor and other team members during treatments.
• Assist with patient admissions, scheduling, and preparation for dialysis sessions.
