Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Grove City, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee for our outpatient dialysis clinic. No prior dialysis experience is required; we provide 12 weeks of paid, comprehensive training to help you build a rewarding career.

This full-time role offers hands-on patient care in a team-oriented environment. Regular shifts start early (as early as 5 am) with four 10-hour shifts weekly, including every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification required or completed as part of dialysis training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under RN supervision.
• Educate patients on adequacy measures and care.
• Monitor vitals, dialysis parameters, and patient wellbeing.
• Record treatment data and write up treatment sheets.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and equipment.
• Prepare and operate dialysis machines and alarm systems.
