Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support patient care, prepare machines, monitor patients, and help with education and documentation.

Candidates with prior dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA experience have an advantage. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to state/federal regulations within a busy renal care clinic.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Prefer a minimum of 3 months in dialysis healthcare or phlebotomy experience or CNA experience.
• Certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire as Patient Care Technician.
• Must be certified and maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with dialysis treatment under RN supervision.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect after treatment, and log quality control data.
• Take vital signs and document treatment details.
• Stock carts and maintain supply room; assist with water quality testing and safety procedures.
