Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a patient care technician to support dialysis treatment under nursing supervision. You will help set up machines, monitor patients, record vital signs, and ensure safe, clean treatment environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on training with no on-call requirements, no overnight shifts, and opportunities for growth within the network. Previous dialysis experience is not required as paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification required; dialysis training completion may be required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing safe dialysis therapy under nurse supervision.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Monitor patients and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Participate in CQI and infection control practices.
• Educate patients about treatment adequacy.
