Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the New York area is seeking staff to assist in dialysis treatment under nursing supervision. The role includes setting up machines, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety, with paid training and opportunities for growth. No on-call, overnight, or Sunday shifts are included.

Ideal candidates may have prior patient care exposure; however, dialysis experience is not required. Requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CPR certification required upon completion or maintained as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Observe patient condition and report changes to the nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment area.
