Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required within training period or prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access for patency and perform cannulation.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Initiate, monitor and terminate dialysis treatment as prescribed.
• Document treatment data accurately in charts and sheets.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and assist with CQI activities.
