Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis support technician to assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, under RN supervision. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and accurate record-keeping in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, CMS/state certification, and CPR certification. Training is provided; travel within facilities may be required, with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Dialysis training provided; prior dialysis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to intradialytic issues as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and document treatment data.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and dialysis process.
• Assist with transitions and coordination of patient care across units.
