Qualifications

• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in education regarding adequacy measures and dialysis processes.
• Welcome patients, monitor wellbeing between treatments.
• Evaluate vascular access, cannulate, and manage heparin as allowed.
• Initiate dialysis and monitor blood/ dialysate flow per orders.
• Record vital signs and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report changes to the RN.
