Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Duluth, MN is hiring a dialysis technician to join the patient care team. You will support the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under RN supervision, contribute to a clean, safe environment, and participate in CQI activities.

On-the-job training provided; must have high school diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred; strong attention to safety and documentation; travel not required.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred in hospital or related facility.
• On-the-job training is provided for dialysis procedures.
• CPR certification preferred and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access, monitor treatment, and respond to issues as directed.
• Record vital signs, treatment parameters and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment area and adhere to infection control policies.
• Assist in education and support for patients during dialysis.
