Siemens Healthineers in Albany, NY is seeking a Customer Service Engineer 2 to service diagnostics equipment at customer sites, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision. You will build strong relationships with customers, manage assets, training operators, and help ensure system performance while meeting budget and inventory targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Proficient with tools and service test equipment; able to work independently or in a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic instruments at customer sites.
• Deliver timely repairs and operator training to ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage assets, customer relations, and administrative duties; support budgeting and inventory control.
