Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide direct patient care and perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires independence under a Radiologist and adherence to department standards.

Under supervision of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist, you will gather clinical data, document findings, and assist with interventional procedures. Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography or Radiologic Technology program.
• ARDMS registration in one category within 12 months of hire date.
• Preferred: Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations per patient age and department standards.
• Collect pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete all records, paperwork, and billings promptly.
• Position and transfer patients and assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide support.
