Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Supervisor to join Veterans Evaluation Services in a remote capacity. You will supervise and support the Diagnostics team, ensuring service levels are met and reporting metrics regularly.

The role requires US citizenship or a Green Card and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience, with preference for scheduling experience and medical terminology familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent experience.

• Experience with diagnostics scheduling or related roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and support the Diagnostics team including Cappers, Recruiters, Schedulers, Uploaders, and DX Report Tracking Specialists.
• Ensure departmental service levels and goals are met.
• Report team metrics on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager to drive productivity.
• Coordinate with the Department Trainer to ensure proper training.
• Work with HR on employee relations issues.
• Review and approve time records and manage overtime.
• Interview, select, and onboard new employees.

Maximus is currently hiring for a Diagnostic Supervisor to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Supervisor is responsible for supervising, instructing, and supporting the Diagnostics team.

Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

• Supervise, instruct, and support the Diagnostics team: Diagnostic Cappers, Diagnostic Facility Recruiters, Diagnostic Schedulers, Diagnostic Uploaders, and DX Report Tracking Specialists.
• Ensure departmental service level requirements and goals are met.
• Report team metrics on a regular and timely basis.
• Work in tandem with Department Manager with regard to driving overall productivity.
• Work closely with the Department Trainer to ensure all employees are properly trained or retrained.
• Work closely with the HR Manager on resolving employee relations issues.
• Support and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Reviews and approves employee time records and manage overtime utilization.
• Interview, select, and on-board new employees.
• Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered with a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of directly relevant VES Diagnostics experience.
• Please note upon hire, Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) a Maximus Co. will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfill the duties of your role. New hires will NOT be exempt from using company provided equipment.
• Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US
• Home Office Requirements Using Maximus Provided Equipment:
• Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
• Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
• Private work area and adequate power source
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 months of Diagnostics Scheduling experience desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
