Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying histories, applying ALARA principles, and contributing to image quality and data security across clinical settings. New grads must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months and progress to level 2 within 24 months.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.

Role Overview

Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. They independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, analyze data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
