Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiologic procedures with ionizing radiation. You will independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, prepare and administer medications where appropriate, and ensure accurate data acquisition for diagnosis while prioritizing patient safety and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps for level advancement within 24 months.

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures in various settings, including operating rooms and ICU.
