Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center Muncy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, prepare and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure, and support clinicians with imaging studies.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months; the role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with a preferred Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience. Strong emphasis on patient safety and collaboration within a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and active registry.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct order, identify patient, and document history per policy.
• Apply imaging protocols and ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic procedures and radiographic exams.
• Monitor and educate students and health care staff; ensure proper data transfer and storage.
